North East Calibration and Testing Laboratory (NECTL)
North East Calibration and Testing Laboratory (NECTL), a registered unit under MSME (UAN: ASO3D0001327), Industries and Commerce, Govt. of Assam, The objective of NECTL is to provide Calibration/Testing of instruments used in various fields especially in the medical diagnostic laboratories, Hospital equipment and various engineering industries, process industries, construction industries as well as in commercial field by providing quality and correct authentic, relevant data and a comparative judgement against each and every equipment used to evaluate respective parameters. Our planning is to provide our services according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the entire North Eastern region covering the above mentioned field. Besides this there is a planning to provide training and education to the entire North Eastern region people to upgrade the region and to realize the importance of knowledge and awareness, judgement related to the practical life in measurement and quality of items.
This Laboratory has been set up on 2nd January, 2018 with the objective to provide standard testing calibration and quality certificate to the needs of small, medium and large scale Industries, Technology users covering Govt., Public, Private sector organization and professional bodies located in the North Eastern Region of the country to improve the quality of their products and services. In past years NECTL has touched most of the organization in the region in both public and private organizations.
Broadly the major services are: Calibration Mechanical Electro-Technical Thermal Bio-Medical Testing: Testing of Solvents Electrical and Electronics product Deflection vs Load Testing of Structures However, testing & Bio-Medical activities are not registered under NABL portal so far. NECTL, Guwahati has developed and enhanced its activities with the growth of Industrial scenario and requirements of this region to its level best.
